Coriolis Mass Flowmeter
Product Overview
The Coriolis Mass Flowmeter delivers direct, highly accurate mass flow measurements for liquids and gases. Using advanced Coriolis technology, it provides simultaneous mass flow, density, and temperature measurement with exceptional reliability—independent of fluid properties or flow profile.
Designed for demanding industrial applications, this meter ensures stable performance, minimal maintenance, and long service life.

How it works (simple explanation)
- Fluid flows through one or more vibrating tubes.
- As the fluid moves, it causes a tiny twisting (phase shift) in the vibrating tubes due to Coriolis forces.
- The amount of twist is directly proportional to the mass flow rate.
- Sensors detect this twist and convert it into a mass flow signal.
What it measures
- Mass flow rate (kg/h, lb/min, etc.) – primary measurement
- Density – from vibration frequency
- Temperature – via built-in sensors
- (Volumetric flow can be calculated from mass + density)
Key advantages
- Direct mass measurement (no need for pressure/temperature compensation)
- Very high accuracy (often ±0.1% or better)
- Works with liquids, gases, and slurries
- No moving parts → low maintenance
- Largely independent of flow profile
- Suitable for custody transfer and critical process control
- Easy integration with DCS and PLC systems
Applications
- Oil & Gas (custody transfer, batching)
- Chemical & Petrochemical industries
- Food & Beverage processing (milk, syrup, beer, sugar)
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Power plants
- Paints, coatings, and adhesives
- LNG, fuels, H2 and specialty fluids
Installation
- Can be installed in horizontal or vertical pipelines
- No straight pipe runs required
- Suitable for indoor and outdoor installations
- Optional remote or integral transmitter
