How it works (simple explanation)
A vibration level switch typically has a vibrating probe or tuning fork that oscillates at a fixed frequency.
- When the probe is not covered by material, it vibrates freely.
- When material (liquid or solid) contacts the probe, the vibration changes.
- An internal circuit detects this change and switches an output signal (ON/OFF) to indicate the presence of level.
Think of it like a tuning fork: when struck it vibrates — but if you cover it with material, the vibration changes, and the device senses that change.
What it measures
- The vibration level switch measures the presence or absence of material at a specific point, not continuous level like some sensors. Typical measurements include:
- High level alarm (material has reached a maximum point)
- Low level alarm (material has dropped below a minimum point)
- Point level detection (true/false at one set position)
- It does not provide continuous level data, but rather a point status.

Installation
