How it works (simple explanation)
A manometer compares an unknown pressure to a reference pressure (usually atmospheric pressure) by observing how far a liquid moves inside a tube:
- When pressure is applied, it pushes the liquid column.
- The difference in liquid height corresponds to the applied pressure.
- The higher the pressure, the greater the height difference.
